Congratulations to Hanna! On February 9, 2024, Hanna Dunke received her Master of Science diploma at the CEN Graduation Ceremony 2024 in Lecture Hall 1 of the Geomatikum. Hanna completed the Master's degree program in Integrated Climate System Sciences at Hamburg University. Her thesis is entitled "Estimating the Impacts of Climate Change and Agricultural Adaptation on Food Security in India" and was jointly supervised by Prof. Uwe Schneider and Dr. Kerstin Jantke. In her work, Hanna Dunke investigated the influence of climate change, population growth, and income development on food security in India. Taking into account the scarcity of land and water resources, she developed a mathematical model to simulate agronomic adaptation options to climatic and social developments. Extensive empirical data sets were processed and integrated to answer the interdisciplinary research questions.
Hanna currently lives in Munich and works for the Munich Reinsurance Company.
