PIER PLUS networking event stimulates synergies between the six profiles

PIER PLUS represents a research alliance of all universities funded by the City of Hamburg and independent research institutes. It is organized along six PIER profiles. On 22 April 2024, a networking event was held to stimulate synergies between those six profiles. As its CoChair, Prof. Hermann Held represented the PIER profile ‘Climate and Coast’ at a panel discussion. He outlined its vision to strive for a ‘mind map’ of possible scenarios, how to transform the Metropolitan Region of Hamburg towards a climate resilient future.
