On 26th of June, Prof. Dr. Hermann Held participated in the ring lecture “Climate Protection” at the University Innsbruck, Austria. The focus of the ring lecture in this summer was on long-term decisions for climate protection measures and their planning under dynamic boundary conditions. The lecture of Prof. Dr. Hermann Held addressed the problem of discounting climate damage in the distant future. Furthermore, potential solutions to counteract this and enable long-term decisions in the interests of climate protection are proposed.
The lecture series is taking place in the context of „Interdisziplinäre und generische Kompetenzen“ as well as „Lectures For Future“. It is accessible to all AURORA partner universities. All previous events are accessible via the link of the ring lecture. Moreover, the records can be found on the own YouTube-channel.
