The FNK Research Unit Sustainability and Climate Risks at the University of Hamburg congratulates Hermine Mitter on starting her new professorship at the University of Graz in 2024. While employed at BOKU, Hermine spent several months as a guest researcher at FNK, where she collaborated closely with Kerstin Jantke, Livia Rasche, Lea Schröder, and Uwe Schneider.
Her social science expertise enriched FNK’s work on land‑use topics and strengthened interdisciplinary links between sustainability research, climate adaptation, and agricultural systems. We are pleased that our collaboration with Hermine will not only continue after her move to Graz but will expand through future joint projects and exchanges. FNK thanks her for the inspiring partnership so far and wishes her continued success in her new role.
