The EGU (European Geosciences Union) General Assembly 2025 took place from 27 April to 2 May 2025 in Vienna, Austria, and online. It's the largest geoscientific conference in Europe. This year it welcomed some 20,000 registered participants from 120 countries at the Austria Center Vienna, including more than 1,000 scientific sessions on current research topics as well as discussions and opportunities for international networking.
The conference brings together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts from all areas of Geoscience.
Several FNK members contributed to the conference.
