FNK participation in the book series "100 Jahre Universität Hamburg "

With more than 40,000 students in 170 degree programs, the Universität Hamburg is one of the largest universities in Germany. On its 100th anniversary, the book series "100 Jahre Universität Hamburg" has been published. The four volumes cover 100 years of university history, with volume 1 focusing on general aspects and developments and volumes 2 to 4 on individual subjects and institutes. The FNK is represented in the fourth volume with a contribution by the three professors, Prof. Dr. Hermann Held, Prof. Dr. Uwe Schneider and Prof. Dr. Jana Sillmann.

The publication project celebrates its launch on 28 June 2024 at 5.15 pm in the main building of Universität Hamburg. Federal Minister Robert Habeck has been invited as a prominent guest speaker. It is the closing event for the largest research project on the history of Universität Hamburg, "100 Jahre Universität Hamburg. Studien zur Hamburger Universitäts- und Wissenschaftsgeschichte in vier Bänden". The professors of FNK are invited to the event.
