In order for societies around the world to sustainably adapt to climate change, it is necessary for the diverse groups involved to work closely together and coordinate their efforts. However, a systematic cooperation between the actors still doesn't exist. This is one of the key findings of a new meta-study conducted by international experts from Universität Hamburg's cluster of excellence CLICSS and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) published in the journal "Nature Climate Change". It's the first global overwiew showing which groups of actors track adaptation, and how. Dr. Kerstin Jantke, Senior Researcher at the Research Unit for Sustainability and Climate Risks at Universität Hamburg, is one of the co-authors of the meta-study.
Further information on the content of the study can be found in the press relase of the University.
